Resurrecting the blog:)!

Okay ladies this morning I read a quote that caused me to be taken back. I am mulling it Biblically as well as personally. I wanted to mull it over with you ladies. I miss our times and chats. What are you thoughts about this personally and biblically?

Abiding

Okay, As I read the chapters I come back to abiding. So I would like to open the discussion up about abiding. I know it is what is going to help me know when to give and and when to pray and so forth but what does abiding really look like? How do I do it moment by moment as well as daily? How do I make it pratical? How do I teach it to my children and encourage others to do it without it being some religious foofy word?

Humble Pie

I'm interested in anyone's comments, thoughts, ideas, etc. about what it means to be humble. I thought I had an idea, but Chapter 2 got me really thinking about it. Are you humble? How do you know if you are humble? Do you have an example of not being humble? Do you have an example of you being humble? (and if you do, does that take the humbleness out of being humble? ) hee hee --- -or is being humble another one of those things that is just a heart issue and a choice? hmmmmmmmmmmm
